A shocking incident took place in a Madrassa’s hostel in the Cachar district of Assam. The beheaded remains of a 12-year-old student were found on the premises of the Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa in the Dholai region. One of the roommates discovered the body in the morning.
The Imam of the Darus Salam Hafizia Madrasa has been arrested based on eyewitness accounts linking him to the incident. It is believed that the Imam was angry with the student for leaving the hostel without informing him. However, the Imam denies any involvement.
The student had been enrolled in the Madrasa for about three months before the incident. The body has been taken to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
As a result of this distressing event, the educational institute has been sealed pending a thorough investigation.
