    CCTV cameras have been installed in RTC and school buses in Sircilla under the initiative called “Bus Lo Bharosa” by the district police. IT Minister KT Rama Rao praised the district police administration and the district SP for their efforts in ensuring women’s safety in the district.

    So far, 77 RTCs and school buses in the district have been equipped with CCTV cameras. The Minister officially launched the “Bus Lo Bharosa” program at an event held at the District Collectorate premises.

    The installation of CCTV cameras in buses is a commendable step towards ensuring the safety of women, including working women, housewives, and students. It provides assurance to women that they can travel safely with full protection, according to Rama Rao.

    The remaining buses will have CCTV cameras installed within the next 10 to 15 days. The CCTV cameras in C buses are connected to the RTC depot offices and the district police office, while those in school buses are connected to the district police office.
