Pugs are really popular in India right now. But, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wants people to know that pugs aren’t the best dogs to have as pets. Pugs have short noses, which makes it hard for them to breathe. PETA has put up billboards in cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai to tell people about this. They want people to adopt dogs from animal shelters instead of buying pugs.

PETA is worried about pugs and other dogs with short noses. These dogs have a hard time breathing and doing things like playing. PETA is asking the government to make rules to stop people from breeding these kinds of dogs.
