In Hyderabad, the city celebrated a special event at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) headquarters. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, along with Commissioner Amrapali Kata and Deputy Mayor Srilatha Shobhan Reddy, raised the national flag on Thursday.
During the event, Mayor Vijayalakshmi received a police salute. The ceremony was a moment to reflect on India’s freedom struggle and honor the freedom fighters who played a crucial role in the country’s history.
In her speech, the Mayor mentioned the efforts of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. She emphasized that the State government is working hard to keep the promises made to the people of Telangana and is striving to improve public governance.
