Asifabad: District Collector Venkatesh Dotre emphasized the importance of maintaining a sportsman spirit in all athletic competitions.
Recently, students Himabindu and Bikkubai from Mahatma Jyotibapule Girls’ School and College, located near Babapur village in Asifabad mandal, reached the base of Mount Everest. They proudly displayed the national flag there. On Monday, these students were honored for their achievement by the District Collector, who presented them with a shawl. Additional Collector Deepak Tiwari joined the celebration at the Collectorate office.
