Khammam: A grand ‘Sri Devi Puja – Mega Bathukamma Samburam’ is set to take place on Tuesday at the SR & BGNR Government College Grounds. The Hans India and hmtv are organizing this event, starting at 4 pm, to honor Telangana’s rich cultural heritage.
Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageswara Rao and senior Congress leaders officially launched the invitation brochures in a ceremony on Monday at the camp office.
The event will include Sri Devi Puja rituals, traditional Bathukamma folk songs, dances, cultural performances, and the distribution of prasadam and festive gifts.
Thousands of women from Khammam and nearby areas are expected to attend. They will wear traditional dresses and carry beautifully decorated Bathukammas made of seasonal flowers. Preparations are underway to ensure a lively, safe, and joyous occasion.
Everyone, especially women and families, is invited to join the celebration.
