A grand Yoga Mahotsav is being hosted at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad by MDNIY.

The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) is hosting a Yoga event to celebrate the 25-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga 2023. The event will take place at Parade Ground in Secunderabad on May 27th at 5:30 AM. The goal of the event is to encourage people to adopt Yoga in their personal lives and to showcase the rich heritage of Yoga in India.

The Union Minister for Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, stated that various events are being organized in the run-up to the International Day of Yoga on June 21st. He emphasized that Yoga is the biggest public health program ever undertaken and that it was declared as an international day by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014 due to the initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
