Kothagudem: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught Aswapuram mandal agricultural officer Sai Shantan Kumar red-handed while he was allegedly taking a bribe from a farmer.

According to reports, Kumar demanded ₹30,000 from the farmer to issue a coupon that would allow him to sell his cotton produce. Unable to pay the amount, the farmer decided to seek help from the ACB.

Khammam range DSP Y Ramesh and his team planned a trap and successfully caught Kumar while accepting the bribe. The officials seized the money from him on the spot.
