A tribal welfare officer named Jyoti was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while taking a bribe of Rs 84,000. After the arrest, ACB officials searched Jyoti’s home and found a large amount of cash and gold ornaments.
During the search, ACB officials discovered Rs 65 lakh in cash and four kilograms of gold jewellery at Jyoti’s residence. It is believed that the cash and gold were obtained through corrupt means.
Jyoti has been arrested by ACB officials and will soon appear in court to face corruption charges. The significant seizure of cash and gold has raised suspicions about Jyoti’s involvement in other corrupt activities. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
