The chairman of the All India Muslim Minorities Organisation (AIMMO) in Hyderabad, Syed Mukhtar Hussain, along with former MP MD Aziz Pasha and former director of Minority Finance Corporation MA Siddique, held a press conference in Hyderguda. They demanded that the state government resolve long-pending issues in the Waqf board. They expressed concern that crematoriums in the twin cities and districts are at risk of disappearing.

Hussain urged the state government to allocate 100 acres of Waqf land along highways, 20 km away. He also requested 100 square yards of Waqf land be given to poor Muslims without homes in urban areas and all district headquarters. He claimed that land grabbers and encroachers are taking advantage of the entire Waqf land.

Overall, the AIMMO representatives are calling for action to protect Waqf land and ensure it is used for the benefit of Muslims in need. They hope to see positive changes from the state government to address these issues.
