Ajit Pawar, a leader of the National Congress Party in Maharashtra, spoke to the media in Pune on Tuesday. He said that KCR, the leader of the BRS party in Telangana, wants to expand his party in Maharashtra, but he will not succeed. Ajit Pawar compared KCR’s efforts to those of Mayawati and Mulayam Singh, who tried to expand their parties in Maharashtra when they were Chief Ministers, but failed.
Ajit Pawar criticized KCR for spending heavily on campaigns during a time of high inflation and unemployment. He suggested that people should think about where all this money is coming from. KCR wants to become a national level leader, which is why he is working to expand his party outside Telangana.
KCR has focused his attention on Maharashtra as part of his plan to make BRS a national party. Many public meetings have already been held in Maharashtra, and party offices have been set up. Many Maharashtra leaders and activists have joined BRS in this process.
