In Hyderabad, Akbaruddin Owaisi was seen campaigning for his brother Asaduddin Owaisi, who is AIMIM’s candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Akbaruddin walked through the streets with a message asking for support and votes for their party, Majlis. He used the slogan ‘our work is our identity’ during his campaign.
Akbaruddin started his door-to-door campaigning from Dargah Barhane Shah in Santosh Nagar, receiving a warm welcome from the people. He met with elderly individuals and urged them to vote for Majlis. Many young people joined him in the campaign as well.
After Ramadan, AIMIM began its election campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. Asaduddin Owaisi started a door-to-door campaign from Bahadurpura and continued throughout the Old City of Hyderabad. The seven MLAs of Majlis also launched full-fledged campaigns in their respective areas to support their party leader.
During the campaigns, the MLAs not only sought support for their party’s candidates but also emphasized their commitment to the minority communities in the state. They expressed confidence that Asaduddin Owaisi would win the Hyderabad seat for the fifth time with the support of the people.
Asaduddin Owaisi has been winning the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat since 2004. In the Charminar segment, MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali was seen campaigning door-to-door and encouraging people to vote for Majlis. Akbaruddin Owaisi mentioned at an Eid event that Charminar belonged to his father, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, known as Salar.
Akbaruddin Owaisi also noted that despite attempts by other political parties, AIMIM has remained strong in Hyderabad. He mentioned that those who previously criticized Majlis are now seeking their support in the upcoming elections. Other MLAs from AIMIM were also seen campaigning in various areas of Hyderabad.
