Samajwadi Party President and Member of Parliament Akhilesh Yadav visited Hyderabad to meet key political leaders from Telangana, reaffirming his party’s support for the Kalvakuntla family and discussing the state’s political landscape.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister held separate meetings with BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during his visit to the state capital.
Akhilesh Yadav met KTR and former minister Harish Rao at the Nandi Nagar residence in what was described as a respectful and cordial meeting between the political leaders. The Samajwadi Party chief expressed his continued solidarity with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leadership.
Speaking about his relationship with the BRS leaders, Akhilesh Yadav stated that meeting KTR feels like meeting a close person. He emphasized the strong personal and political bonds between the Samajwadi Party and the Kalvakuntla family.
The MP acknowledged that ups and downs in politics are natural occurrences. He expressed confidence in the political future of BRS, stating that situations change and he remains confident that the people will once again rally behind KCR’s rule.
Akhilesh Yadav made it clear that KTR and KCR are friends of the Samajwadi Party. He assured that his party always stands with them, regardless of the current political circumstances in Telangana.
Following his meeting with the BRS leaders, Akhilesh Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence. The meeting reflected the political courtesy maintained between leaders of different parties.
During his discussion with CM Revanth Reddy, they talked about the current political scenario in the country. The Chief Minister outlined Telangana’s development agenda and explained various welfare initiatives being implemented by the state government.
The visit comes at a time when Telangana politics has witnessed significant changes following the recent assembly elections. The Congress party currently governs the state after defeating the BRS, which had been in power for nearly a decade.
Akhilesh Yadav’s meetings with leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties demonstrate the continuing political equations and alliances that exist beyond state boundaries. The Samajwadi Party has maintained friendly relations with BRS over the years, particularly during their time in power.
The Samajwadi Party President’s words of encouragement for the BRS leadership indicate that opposition parties continue to maintain their political friendships despite electoral setbacks. His statement about people rallying behind KCR’s rule again suggests his belief in the former Chief Minister’s political resilience.
