An all-party committee in Gadwal paid tribute to Telangana martyrs in Aija, Jogulamba Gadwal district, on the 10th anniversary of Telangana state’s formation. The event gathered hundreds of people to celebrate the decade milestone, with speakers highlighting the significance of Telangana as the first state to hold such a tribute.
Residents of Telangana pointed out that the Second phase movement was crucial in achieving statehood, made possible by the sacrifices of its people. They praised the heroes of Telangana for their lasting legacy and emphasized the importance of public support in any movement’s success. During the tribute, candles were lit to honor the martyrs, and Aija’s pivotal role in the movement was recognized. The enduring spirit of Aija’s residents in fighting for public issues was also commended, with a commitment to continue addressing people’s problems with dedication.
Honorary president PGK Venkateswar Rao, Nagar Doddi Venkat Ramudu from BRS, S Rama Chandra Reddy from BJP, Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy from trade unions, and other party leaders participated in the event.
