Renuka Chowdhury, M Anil Kumar Yadav, and Vaddiraju Ravichandra have been elected to the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. The results were announced at the Assembly premises with no other candidates in the contest. Anil and Ravichandra received their election certificates.
Renuka Chowdhury will serve her sixth term as an MP, with four nominations to the Rajya Sabha and two terms in the Lok Sabha. Anil Kumar Yadav is a Youth Congress leader making his debut in Parliament. Ravichandra has been nominated to the Rajya Sabha for the second consecutive time.
After being elected, Anil Kumar Yadav led a victory rally from the Assembly to the TPCC head office Gandhi Bhavan.
