In Hyderabad, allegations of sexual harassment have been made against Mirchowk ACP Shyam Sunder. Recently, ACP Shyam Sunder addressed these claims. He stated that on Saturday evening at 6:30, a woman came to his office. During their conversation, both a CC and a home guard were present with him. Shyam Sunder asserted that the woman’s accusations were unfounded.
He mentioned that since the woman identified herself as Dalit, a letter was sent to the Nampally MRO. The response from the MRO indicated that the caste certificate in question was not issued by their office. Shyam Sunder explained that this information was conveyed to the woman the previous day. He believes that her false allegations are a result of this.
Shyam Sunder expressed that he has no objections to an investigation into the allegations.
