Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently spoke about the upcoming 2024 elections, describing it as a crucial battle between the progress of the country and the development of a particular political family. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s chances in Telangana, predicting a significant increase in seats won compared to previous elections.
Shah emphasized the BJP’s dedication to addressing the issues faced by Schedule Castes, Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBCs). He criticized Congress’ policies, especially the reservation given to Muslims, which he claimed posed challenges for marginalized communities. Shah stated that reallocating these seats to the BJP would eliminate Muslim reservations and benefit groups like SCs, STs, and OBCs.
In addition, Shah criticized the Congress party for failing to fulfill promises, specifically mentioning the delayed implementation of loan waivers promised by Rahul Gandhi. On the other hand, he praised Prime Minister Modi for fulfilling commitments such as the construction of the Ram Mandir and the revocation of Article 370 in Kashmir as examples of decisive actions taken by the government.
Shah also addressed concerns about national security, highlighting the government’s efforts in combating terrorism, extremism, and Maoist ideologies. He stressed the BJP’s commitment to maintaining law and order and protecting the nation from security threats.
