Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent rally, bolstered the spirits of BJP workers during his visit to the states. The party’s momentum received an added impetus with Modi’s reaffirmation of commitment towards the electoral fray.

Earlier this month, the BJP unveiled its initial list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls. Prime Minister Modi is slated to contest from Varanasi once again, symbolizing continuity and confidence within the party ranks.

Of the 195 candidates announced, 34 are incumbent ministers from the Center and States, further underlining the BJP’s emphasis on experienced leadership. Additionally, two former chief ministers find themselves on the BJP’s electoral roster, signaling a blend of seasoned veterans and fresh faces in the electoral arena.

In the backdrop of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance’s resounding victory in 2019, securing a staggering 303 seats, the stage is set for another riveting electoral contest. With the Lok Sabha polls expected to take place in April-May this year, all eyes are on the political landscape as parties gear up for a high-stakes battle for power.
