Anakapalli chemical factory explosion results in worker fatality

A worker was killed in a reactor explosion at Vasantha Chemicals, a factory in Anakapalli district, Andhra Pradesh. The incident happened in the Achyutapuram Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The deceased worker was identified as Pradeep Routh from Odisha.

The explosion took place on Wednesday at the factory in Rambilli Mandal. Police responded to the scene after receiving information. The body of the deceased worker has been taken to a hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered regarding the incident.

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangeti Anita has shown concern over the explosion and has asked for a detailed report from the District Collector to determine the cause of the incident.
