An Anganwadi teacher named Sujatha was found dead in Mulugu district under suspicious circumstances. She went missing after going to Kathapuram for work and did not return. Her body was discovered by laborers in a forest in the Tadwai Mandal the next day. Police determined she had been murdered, and her gold earrings and phone were missing, suggesting a robbery may have occurred.
