    Riders from the NCC directorate, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, recently participated in the Republic Day Horse Show Competition-2024 in New Delhi. The riders performed exceptionally well, winning several medals and showcasing their skills and dedication to the sport.

    The cadets team achieved great success in the competition, winning three gold, four silver, and three bronze medals in various categories. They also won the prestigious Show Jumping Champion of the Day Trophy. The event took place at Army Equestrian Node in New Delhi from January 3 to 8 and included riders from 15 NCC directorates.

    The success of the NCC directorate AP & T team is a result of their rigorous training, commitment, and passion. The riders demonstrated skill, precision, and grace on their horses, impressing both the audience and judges. Their achievements not only brought glory to the directorate but also contributed to the legacy of equestrian sports in the country.

    Some notable achievements of the cadets include Cadet Shaik Rehana winning gold and silver medals in show jumping (veteran girls) while riding Tamannah and Tarzan. Cadet Mohd. Muzzaffar won the bronze medal in show jumping (novice boys) while riding Tarzan. Cadet Korra Ganesh won the bronze medal in show jumping (veteran boys) while riding Tamannah. Cadet Korra Ganesh also won the silver medal in show jumping open top score. SUO S Chittesh Rao won the gold medal in dressage veteran (boys). CPL G Lohith won silver in dressage (novice boys) and also bagged the silver in show jumping (novice boys). SUO Bhanu Krishna won the bronze in tent pegging (veterans) and CPL G Lohith won the gold in hacks (boys novice).
