The Telangana State Haj Committee has announced that the online application process for Haj-2025 began on August 13. The last date to submit applications is September 9.
The committee’s chairman, Maulana Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Bayabani Khusro Pasha, inaugurated the free online Haj application service for Haj-2025 at Haj House, Nampally, on Monday. To assist applicants, the committee has set up seven special centers at Haj House. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, a government adviser for Minority Welfare, visited one of the centers later and praised the arrangements made by Pasha.
The committee stated that Haj applications can only be submitted online through the official website of the Haj Committee of India (www.hajcommittee.gov.in) or the ‘HCOI’ mobile app. Applicants are advised to read the guidelines carefully before filling out the forms. Pilgrims are required to upload the first and last page of their machine-readable passport, which should be valid until at least January 15, 2026. They must also upload a recent passport-sized photograph with a white background, a copy of a canceled check from the cover head, and proof of address. Applicants can complete the entire process from their home using the website or mobile app.
Several committee members were present at the event, including Mufti Syed Sadiq Mohiuddin Fahim, Mohammed Laeeq, Mohammed Mujeeb Uddin, Tahir Bin Hamdan, President of Telangana State Urdu Academy, Faheemuddin Qureshi, President of TMREIS Shaik Liyaqat Hussain, EO of Telangana State Haj Committee, Irfan Sharif, and acting EO Osman Mohammed Khan. Senior Congress leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir also attended.
