Arrest Made: VC of Telangana University

The Vice Chancellor of Telangana University, Dachepalli Ravinder, was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Saturday. He had asked for and received a bribe of Rs 50,000 for official work. The person who gave the bribe, Dasari Shankar, paid it for an exam centre in his college in Bheemgal. The VC accepted the bribe at his home in Tarnaka. The money was found in his cupboard when mediators were present. The accused official’s chemical test results were positive. More information is expected soon. A case has been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
