Authorities advised to prevent accumulation of public complaints

The volume of public grievances in Ranga Reddy district is still high even on regular days. Officials at the collectorate received almost 100 complaints during Monday’s ‘Prajavani’ program. The ‘Praja Palana’ program that was recently held also had over 300,000 grievances filed by people in the district. Now, ‘Prajavani’ is also receiving a significant number of pleas from people seeking attention to their issues.

During the program, Collector K Shashanka and the Additional Collector received 98 complaints, with most of them being about land issues under the Dharani portal. Officials and staff from different departments were present at the program. Recently, the district received over 300,000 applications under six guarantees introduced by the new government. Additionally, there were 30,934 miscellaneous applications from over 200,000 households in 16 urban local bodies. The Jalpally municipality had the highest number of applications, with over 35,000 under both the ‘six guarantees’ and miscellaneous categories.

The collector instructed officials to thoroughly examine the complaints and address them promptly. He emphasized that all complaints should be given priority and resolved within a specific timeframe.
