The Telangana state president of the BJP, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has stated that he is prepared to face a legal battle after receiving defamation notices from IT Minister K T Rama Rao. Reports have revealed that KTR issued legal notices to file a defamation suit for Rs 100 crore following Bandi’s comments regarding the TSPSC question papers leak. Bandi demanded that KTR explain to the people of Telangana how he had amassed such a huge wealth in the last nine years. He alleged that KTR was craving for more money in the name of defamation despite being worth hundreds of crores. The MP also criticized KTR for using derogatory language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi without respecting his age and stature. Bandi reiterated his allegations that KTR alone should be held responsible for the goofs-up in his departments, including the issue of fake birth and death certificates, the question paper leak, and other incidents.
