    BJP National General Secretary and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the police for mistreating an ABVP woman leader. He stated that Jhansi, the ABVP activist, is a dedicated and peaceful leader fighting for the people. Bandi Sanjay expressed his outrage at the police dragging her by the hair from a scooter, calling it an extremely heinous act.

    During a media interaction in Karimnagar, Bandi Sanjay demanded an immediate and thorough investigation into the matter. He insisted that strict action be taken against those responsible for the incident. He also condemned the police’s attack on ABVP leaders who are actively addressing educational issues, describing it as abhorrent behavior.

    Bandi Sanjay highlighted that the previous government had unjustly targeted ABVP leaders, imprisoning them in non-bailable cases. However, the public voiced their dissent and taught the government a lesson. He expressed disappointment that the current Congress government is following a similar approach.

    As a result of the incident, Jhansi sustained a head injury and was admitted to the hospital.
