Hyderabad/Ranchi: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised the CRPF for its bravery in tackling separatism in the Northeast, fighting Maoists in the North, and combatting terrorism, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
On Friday in Jamshedpur, Bandi Sanjay honored the revolutionary hero Birsa Munda by garlanding his statue. He then visited the CRPF headquarters, where he opened several new buildings. The ceremony included MP Vidyut Baran Mahato, Additional DG Amit Kumar, and officers Shalini and Saket Kumar, among other senior police officials. A moment of silence was held for victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash.
Speaking after the inauguration, Bandi Sanjay stated, “The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is among the world’s top paramilitary forces. It’s an honor to open these new facilities at the CRPF headquarters in Jamshedpur. CRPF’s dedication and sacrifices are crucial for our country’s security. They are well-prepared to face various tough situations.”
He inaugurated 480 Type-2 and 24 Type-3 family quarters, a storage building, a tradesman’s shop, a 20-bed hospital, an officers’ mess, and main barracks for 180 personnel on a 165-acre site at the CRPF Group Headquarters in Jamshedpur. Bandi Sanjay remarked, “These residential quarters will offer a secure environment for CRPF jawans and their families. It ensures the children receive quality education and allows the personnel to serve the nation with peace of mind.”
