Hyderabad: A political leader has accused the Congress, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) of secretly working together in the upcoming GHMC Local Body MLC elections.
He said that Congress and BRS are supporting AIMIM’s candidate. According to him, both parties are acting like allies. He pointed out that they recently met at a Southern States conference, supposedly to talk about delimitation, but are now also planning a public meeting together in Hyderabad. They are even deciding jointly who should be invited to the event.
He further claimed that in the MLC elections, BRS has more than 70 votes but is not running its own candidate. Congress also decided not to field anyone. He said this clearly shows that both parties are helping AIMIM. He warned the people of Telangana to be aware, saying these parties are trying to give control of Hyderabad and Telangana to AIMIM.
He added that the BJP is thinking about taking part in the elections. A final decision will be made after discussions with all party leaders, under the guidance of the BJP’s state president.
