Hyderabad: Police have filed a case against Insomnia Pub in Jubilee Hills for staying open past the allowed hours.
The Jubilee Hills police charged the pub’s management, including Shafi, the manager, and Kunal, the owner, on December 17. They face charges under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 21 & 76 of the CP Act.
The incident occurred when police, during their routine patrol at 12:05 am on December 17, discovered a crowd at Insomnia Pub. Upon checking, they found the pub operating later than permitted. A case was officially registered at 12:40 am.
Hyderabad City Police emphasize that they will take firm action against any businesses that break the rules on operating hours. They stress that these measures are crucial for maintaining public order and safety.
