On Saturday, Bathukamma celebrations were held at the Government Boys Junior College in Nagarkurnool town. The event was organized under the guidance of the college principal, G. Madhavi.
Madhavi explained the importance of Bathukamma, a festival that promotes harmony with nature. She pointed out that the festival involves the use of naturally blooming flowers, leaves, and other materials, which makes it environmentally friendly and beneficial.
The festival holds special significance in Telangana, she added. The college’s faculty and students eagerly participated in the celebrations, enjoying traditional folk dances as part of the festivities.
