Tensions Escalate during BC Bandh in Hyderabad as Leaders Attack Petrol Pump and Businesses
Heightened tensions were witnessed in Hyderabad during the recent BC Bandh, as BC leaders reportedly launched attacks on city businesses, including an open petrol pump in Nallakunta.
Amidst the bandh, which saw a majority of business establishments shut their doors in solidarity, these leaders took to the streets, escalating the situation by attacking businesses that chose to remain open. The petrol pump in Nallakunta was one such establishment that bore the brunt of their wrath.
However, the petrol pump wasn’t the only establishment targeted. The leaders also hurled stones at the Bajaj showroom and the Raghavendra Tiffin Center, causing damage and instilling fear among the staff and patrons present. These establishments were forcibly shut down as a result of the attacks.
The sudden surge in violence during the bandh has raised concerns among the city’s residents, who fear for the safety of their properties and businesses. The bandh, which was intended as a peaceful protest, has taken a violent turn, causing disruption and unease among the city’s populace.
The police have started an investigation into the incidents and are expected to take necessary actions against the perpetrators.
