BCCI Reports: Jasprit Bumrah Begins Rehabilitation at NCA Following Surgery, Shreyas Iyer Scheduled for Surgery Soon.

Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer are both out of India’s upcoming WTC Final against Australia in June. Bumrah has started rehab at the National Cricket Academy after having surgery on his lower back in New Zealand, while Iyer is scheduled to have surgery next week for his lower back issue. Bumrah has been out of action since September 2022 and has missed several tournaments including the T20 World Cup, Asia Cup, and the IPL. The BCCI has not stated whether he will be available for the WTC Final but they are confident he will be fit for the ODI World Cup in 2023. Iyer has been struggling with his back issue since the start of the year and has missed several games as a result.
