Bengaluru Police Books Telangana Congress Leader on Rape Charges

Kumbham Sivakumar Reddy, a Congress leader from Telangana, is facing serious allegations of rape. The case has been registered against him at the Cubbon Park police station in Bengaluru. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman and blackmailing her with a video.

According to the accusations, Sivakumar Reddy took the woman to a prestigious private hotel in Bengaluru where the alleged rape occurred. He then recorded a video of the incident and threatened the woman.

Sivakumar Reddy is known as the Congress president of Narayanpet district in Telangana. He was a contestant in the Narayanpet assembly constituency during the 2018 elections but lost.

An FIR has been lodged with the Cubbon Park police station in Bengaluru based on the woman’s formal complaint. The investigation is currently ongoing.
