CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka conducted a People’s March in Gandrapalli village of Huzurabad constituency in Karimnagar district. He promised that if Congress comes to power in 2024, they will take measures to stop the sand mafia and make natural resources belong to the people. He alleged that police officers who get salaries from taxes paid by people were working for the sand mafia. The ruling party leaders were using the police for their own needs, but they were not using it to save the natural resources and lives of the people of Telangana. Vikramarka promised that if Congress comes to power, they would pay salaries to employees on the first week of every month, not use the police and bureaucracy for the party’s benefit, and implement English medium in all government schools with special training to teachers.
He also promised to provide financial support to tenant farmers, waive Rs. 2 lakh crop loan at a time, and give Rs 12, 000 Kooli Bandhu to laborers just like Rythu Bandhu. He criticized the BJP and BRS government at the Centre for not providing houses or distribution of land to the poor and increasing the prices of essential goods.
Vikramarka alleged that Narendra Modi had not fulfilled his promise of creating two crore jobs every year and that his disciple Bandi Sanjay Kumar was spreading lies. He also questioned why no action was taken against CM KCR when Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah said that he was a corruption king and that Kaleswaram has become like an ATM for him.
