Hyderabad: A day after BRS working President KT Rama Rao filed a complaint about AMRUT-2 project works being awarded to a company linked to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s relative, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took action. He met with Union Minister for Urban Development, Manohar Lal Khattar, in New Delhi.
Bhatti was in Delhi to attend a meeting organized by the Union Ministry of Power, which brought together energy ministers from all state governments. During the visit, he took the opportunity to discuss the AMRUT contract issue with Khattar. He provided details about the company involved and explained the political allegations made by KTR.
Sources mentioned that the Union Minister asked Bhatti for some clarifications related to the issue. In response, Bhatti assured him that he would provide more information about the company and the nature of the works assigned to it in the state.
Besides this, Bhatti and Khattar also talked about other matters related to the state’s power sector. Bhatti requested additional support from the central government to improve the state’s energy network and enhance power transmission systems.
