Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has directed officials to carefully review all applications submitted during revenue ‘grama sabhas’ and resolve those eligible. A total of 10,226 revenue meetings took place across 594 mandals, receiving 8,27,230 applications. Out of these, 7,98,528 applications have been registered on the Bhu Bharati portal. The remaining will be processed shortly.
In a meeting on Tuesday, the Minister emphasized the need for thorough investigation of each application. Officials must notify relevant parties, examine all necessary documents, and upload evidence as a comprehensive document on the portal. Applicants should receive written explanations if their applications are rejected.
The Minister highlighted that 8.27 lakh applications were related to 30 types of land issues. He urged the entire revenue system to prioritize problem resolution, focusing particularly on farmers’ welfare. Minister Ponguleti stressed that officials should work diligently to address these issues positively, ensuring no inconvenience to farmers.
