State BJP general secretary G Premender Reddy has asked Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj to stop Congress leaders in Karimnagar LS constituency from bribing voters and local representatives. Reddy wants central forces in all areas and polling stations to prevent illegal activities during the elections.
According to Reddy, a Congress minister in the constituency has allegedly collected Rs. 100 crore and is giving Rs. 1,000-2,000 to each voter. The minister is also offering Rs 20-30 lakh to local body representatives like corporators, ZPTCs, MPTCs, and sarpanches.
Reddy also claimed that Congress leaders are stealing phones from Opposition leaders.
