Former minister Ajmira Chandulal’s son, Dr. Ajmira Prahlad, is running as the MLA candidate for the BJP in Mulugu Constituency. On Thursday, Prahlad led a large rally with BJP leaders to the nomination center. Five other leaders joined Prahlad at the center to show their support and file the nomination. The rally began with a special pooja at Gattammathalli in Mulugu Gattamma temple and proceeded to the Mulugu bus stand center. Approximately 250 two-wheelers and Tata Magic vehicles, along with a large number of BJP members, participated in the rally.
The national highway of Mulugu was temporarily blocked due to the rally, prompting the police to arrange one-way traffic. The entire area of Mulugu was adorned with BJP flags, signaling the start of the political campaign in the constituency. Prahlad expressed his determination to win the Mulugu assembly election on the 30th of this month, stating that he is working hard towards that goal. He emphasized the importance of a double engine government for the development of Mulugu and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allocation of Rs. 900 crores for the establishment of a tribal university, despite there being no BJP MLA candidate in Mulugu. The BJP is intensifying its campaign in the constituency in hopes of securing victory.
