BJP State spokesperson A Rakesh Reddy criticized D Vinay Bhaskar, accusing him of illegally accumulating crores of rupees. Reddy made these remarks during a press conference in Hanumakonda on Tuesday. He claimed that Vinay, who had limited resources when he first ran for office, now possesses wealth worth around Rs 2,000. Reddy also alleged that Vinay is associated with land grabbers and that there has been no development in Hanumakonda since he became the MLA. Reddy stated that any development in Warangal was due to the funding from the BJP-led Central Government. He further claimed that Vinay is prepared to use cash and liquor to sway voters. Reddy expressed the confidence that the BJP will easily win the Warangal West constituency with Vinay as their candidate.

Reddy also criticized Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, suggesting that he is afraid of losing in his Gajwel constituency and has chosen the Kamareddy seat for the upcoming elections. He questioned why MLC K Kavitha, who supports the Mahila Reservation Bill, is only fielding six women candidates in the elections. The press conference was attended by several others including Corporator Ravi Naik, Niranjan, Tarun Reddy, Ravinder Reddy, Sravan Yadav, Nalla Ramesh, and Roop Singh.
