MK Stalin defended his son’s statement, and DMK MP A Raja further escalated the situation by referring to Hindus as Shudras. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for not speaking out about this issue. Prasad stated that the Congress party’s silence was harmful to Hindu beliefs and expressed shock and shame over the lack of response from bloc I.N.D.I.A leaders. Earlier, Prasad had accused I.N.D.I.A of being anti-Hindu after Udayanidhi’s comments on Sanatan Dharma.
