A petition has been filed against Udhayanidhi Stalin and DMK MP A Raja in the Supreme Court. The petitioner claims that Udhayanidhi made a speech threatening to destroy Sanatan Dharma, but no action was taken by the Tamil Nadu Police. The petitioner also filed a complaint with the Delhi Police, but no FIR was lodged. The Supreme Court has urged all state police to take action against offensive comments. By not filing a case against Udhayanidhi, both Tamil Nadu and the Delhi Police have violated the Supreme Court. A case has been demanded against both Udhayanidhi Stalin and A Raja for their statements.

A Raja compared Sanatan Dharma to AIDS, which carries a societal stigma. Udhayanidhi Stalin compared it to malaria and dengue, highlighting discrimination associated with these diseases.
