    The Congress party in Hyderabad is unhappy with the government for creating obstacles in holding a large public meeting. They plan to mobilize people from villages and thandas to show their strength after the Congress Working Committee meeting on September 17. The public meeting will be addressed by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

    The TPCC president accused the government of colluding with BJP to cancel permission for the public meeting at parade grounds and moving it to Tukkuguda near ORR. When they tried to give a letter to the DGP for police protection, they were not given time.

    The TPCC president called on party workers to come to Hyderabad in large numbers to provide security for Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, as the police was not cooperating.

    He mentioned that this was the first time a CWC meeting was being held in Hyderabad, and the government and police do not want it to be successful. The Congress party will hold the public meeting to give a five-point guarantee to voters and celebrate Telangana liberation day.
