The BJP President of Jogulamba Gadwal District, S. Ramachandra Reddy, accused the Congress and BRS parties of deceiving the people of Aija urban mandal about the establishment of a degree college. He mentioned that while a new degree college was sanctioned for Devarakadra on June 21st, two more degree colleges were approved for Kodangal constituency on July 9th. These included a women’s degree college in Kodangal town and a government degree college in the center.

Ramachandra Reddy criticized the Congress and BRS party leaders for hindering higher education opportunities for children from poor families in Aija urban mandal and nearby villages. He argued that despite the orders for degree colleges in Devarakadra and Kodangal, the educational needs of Aija urban mandal’s people were being neglected. He warned that people might express their dissatisfaction with these parties in the upcoming local elections.

The BJP President highlighted that towns like Devarakadra, Kodangal, and Maddur, with smaller populations than Aija, were granted degree colleges while Aija was overlooked. He demanded orders for a Government Degree College and dormitory houses for female students in Aija Town by August 15th. If not, the Bharatiya Janata Party would prepare for direct action and agitation starting from August 16th in Jogulamba Gadwal district.

Ramachandra Reddy, along with other BJP leaders, including Mandal Town Presidents Bingi Doddi Gopala Krishna and Narasimha Shetty, participated in this program.
