Hyderabad: The BJP Mahila Morcha has called on BRS party working president K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) to issue an unconditional apology for making comments they found offensive towards women.
Morcha president Dr. Shilpa Reddy strongly criticized KTR, stating that his remarks show arrogance and a negative attitude towards women. She pointed out that his comments have hurt women, especially those who were happily celebrating Varalakshmi Vratam on Friday.
Dr. Shilpa Reddy also mentioned that the women who benefit from free travel in RTC buses are mostly poor and middle-class. She accused KTR of insulting these women, claiming that he takes pride in his wealth while looking down on others. According to her, it has become a habit for KTR to speak poorly about women whenever he is in power.
