A meeting took place at the BJP district office in Nalgonda on Saturday to prepare for local body elections. Dr. Nagam Varshit Reddy, the district president, led the meeting. Dr. Boora Narsaiah Goud, former Bhongir MP and Nalgonda district election in-charge, attended as the main speaker. He encouraged party members to capitalize on the current political climate, suggesting that the Congress government has lost public trust, creating a chance for the BJP to win upcoming elections.
Dr. Goud criticized the ruling Congress by stating they gained power through false promises. He questioned their ability to face voters in the local elections after failing to deliver on six key guarantees.
He accused the government of inefficiency, which he claimed led to severe urea shortages for farmers, poor village administration, and loss of funds from the 15th Finance Commission.
Dr. Goud highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, villages are receiving Central funds and experiencing development.
He urged party leaders and members to work together to ensure BJP candidates succeed in the elections.
BJP state vice-president J Kalyan Naik, state secretary T Ravi Kumar, and leaders Goli Madhusudan Reddy and Veerelli Chandrasekhar also attended the meeting.
