BJP Member of Parliament Etela Rajender has openly challenged BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) to a public debate. He wants to discuss the performance of the BRS party during its ten years of rule in Telangana.
Etela asked if KTR would be willing to meet him at Abids crossroads for this debate. He criticized the BRS for its actions during the recent MLC elections, claiming the party told corporators not to vote. Etela called this behavior undemocratic and said it was an attempt to weaken the democratic system.
He also said that for Hyderabad to continue growing peacefully, the BJP should come into power. Etela accused the Congress, BRS, and AIMIM of being family-controlled parties. He claimed they focus more on keeping power within their families than on serving the public.
