BJP Criticizes Congress Government in Sathupalli Meeting

The BJP has accused the Congress government in Telangana of failing on multiple fronts and neglecting the promises it made during the elections. BJP state secretary Papa Rao expressed these criticisms while attending a meeting of party leaders in Sathupalli on Thursday. The gathering was organized by Khammam parliamentary convener Namburi Ramalingeswara Rao.

During the meeting, the leaders called on party workers to prepare for a strong fight against what they termed as the “anti-people policies” of the Congress government led by Revanth Reddy. They emphasized the need to raise public awareness about the government’s shortcomings and announced plans to launch agitation programs in December to highlight these failures.

The BJP leaders also accused the Congress government of suppressing opposition voices. They alleged that the administration had a hidden agenda to seize valuable lands under the pretext of cleaning the Musi River. Furthermore, they claimed that ordinary citizens were being intimidated through demolitions carried out in the name of protecting water bodies and their full tank levels.

In addition, the ongoing comprehensive survey was criticized as a political tactic. The BJP leaders argued that the survey was a ploy to secure votes from the backward classes ahead of the upcoming local body elections.

Several senior leaders, including V. Ramesh, district secretary Naidu Raghavrao, constituency convener Veeramraju, and district representative Padigala Madhusudan Rao, were present at the meeting. They expressed their commitment to exposing the state government’s alleged failures and supporting the party’s efforts in the coming months.
