A voluntary blood donation camp and a Red Cross mobile medical camp were held in Aleru Village under the Boppally Primary Health Center of Telkapally Mandal. The event was organized by the Red Cross Society and the youth of Aleru Village.
Youth Red Cross District Convenor Kumar highlighted the importance of donating blood during the summer season when there is a shortage. Sudhakar Lal and secretary Ramesh Reddy praised the youth of Aleru Village for organizing the blood donation camp. A total of 42 youths donated blood, with support from A.N.M. Neeranjanamma.
In addition to the blood donation camp, a medical camp was set up for the elderly in the village by the Nagar Kurnool district branch of the Red Cross Society. Sugar tests were conducted and tonics were given to the participants. MPTC Eswariah, Red Cross members Krishna Rao, A.N.M. Niranjanamma, village youth, and Asha activists also took part in the event.
