Khanapur: MLA Vedma Bojju Patel criticized the previous BRS government, saying it did not help develop villages. He said only the Congress party is working to improve rural areas.
Patel visited the SC ward in Indravelli mandal, where he spoke with local people and listened to their problems. He said that villages were neglected for ten years and left without proper development. Now, the current government is working hard to fix those issues step by step.
He encouraged people to make use of the welfare programs offered by the State government. He especially advised young people to apply for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme. He also promised that problems like bad roads and dirty drains in Kalani would be fixed soon.
Later, several leaders from the BRS party joined the Congress in front of Bojju Patel. Congress members, local residents, and others attended the event.
