The Delhi Police are looking into a sexual harassment case against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is the Wrestling Federation of India chief. Singh has said that he will hang himself even if just one allegation is proved against him. Female wrestlers have made allegations against him, but the police have not found enough evidence yet. The police will submit a status report on the investigation to court within 15 days. The investigation is ongoing, so the Delhi Police have said that they cannot comment on it until the report is filed in court. Earlier this week, female wrestlers protested at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, demanding that Singh be arrested. The police removed them from the site when they tried to march to the new Parliament building. Singh has said that all wrestlers are like his children and he will not blame them for anything, and that his blood and sweat have gone into their success.
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, WFI chief, faces possible legal action.
